The Westin Jersey City Newport

I recently stayed at the Westin Jersey City and had the pleasure of experiencing their newly renovated junior suite. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's modern and elegant design. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The junior suite was nothing short of spectacular. The renovation has truly elevated the space, with stylish decor, comfortable furnishings, and all the modern amenities one could need. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, providing a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Despite the ongoing renovations in the hotel, there was minimal disruption. The management has done an excellent job of ensuring that guests are not inconvenienced, and I hardly noticed any noise or disturbances during my stay. Overall, my experience at the Westin Jersey City was outstanding. The newly renovated junior suite exceeded my expectations, and the staff's dedication to providing a top-notch experience was evident throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Jersey City. I will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful stay! The area is clean, walkable, and easy to explore. The hotel offers great views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and helpful—especially Delanie, who welcomed us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Her kindness truly stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable. Pros: Location - It is extremely easy to get to the river, Path station, mall, a variety of restaurants and convenience stores, and other spots around Newark. Service - Absolutely amazing. Fire&Oak is located on the first floor and is also the venue used for room service (which is spectacular, by the way). There is a bar downstairs that is open until 10:30/11. You can order room service from the bar as well. It is currently May 2025, and the hotel is going through upgrades and uplifts. New flooring, tvs, aesthetics, etc. Con: This is me nitpicking, but I am here for a two week work trip. The new tvs are completed mounted against the wall, not allowing for any access to the HDMI ports. It would be nice to personalize the hotel room experience with HDMI connectivity (such as for an Xbox or PlayStation connection). Huge con for me, hence the 3 star rating. I’d trade a bigger, mounted tv and new flooring for a tv I can connect to.
