I had a wonderful stay at The Westin Kuala Lumpur. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout my visit. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, situated just across the road from Pavilion, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring the city. What truly made my experience memorable was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, and their warm hospitality did not go unnoticed. A special shout-out to Rajan, who made special arrangements for me and truly exemplified remarkable service. Thank you, Westin KL, for a fantastic stay and I look forward to returning!
Loved yet another stay. The quality of service stands out. To mention a few, the attentive service by local lad Niresh at the breakfast restaurant, who thoughtfully packed me a few items and juice when I had an early meeting. Thanks also to Jahangir who kept my room spotless! And the club lounge staff are amazing. Well done.
I recently stayed at The Westin Kuala Lumpur. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. We were assigned room 3512, which felt run down and dated — quite unexpected for a hotel of this class. What truly affected our stay was the poor soundproofing. Many rooms in this hotel appear to be interconnecting, which means noise travels very easily. Around midnight, the room next to ours started hosting what seemed like a party. The noise was loud and disruptive, making it difficult to rest. We made two complaints to the front desk before a room change was finally offered. By that time, it was already late, and the situation had become quite uncomfortable. While the staff on duty were apologetic and tried their best, the Duty Manager never personally apologised or checked in on us, which made the situation feel even more dismissive. The hotel does have a great location, and some staff were courteous, but the dated room, serious noise issue, and lack of proper managerial handling turned this into a frustrating stay. I truly hope the hotel takes steps to improve both room maintenance and guest experience moving forward — this was not the Westin standard I expected.
