I've stayed here dozens of times over the last decade. Rooms very comfy and clean. Good facilities although gym could do with a bit of investment. Location is great for local attractions. Highlight for me tho is the staff. So friendly and helpful without exception. Look after them Westin, they are your prime asset here!

Pros: - Great location near the water and lots of restaurants / shops - Friendly staff Cons: - Shower didn’t drain (unacceptable for a 4-star hotel) - Breakfast service was super slow. Took 30 min and going directly up to waiters multiple times for them to even take your order - Rooms are a bit dated

Disappointed – Felt More Like a 1-Star Airbnb Than a 4-Star Hotel I had high hopes for this hotel based on its 4-star rating, but the experience was far from what I expected. I had called ahead to request early check-in and was told it was noted in the system. When we arrived at 9 a.m., the front desk staff member was not only dismissive but also rude. He abruptly told us they were not offering early check-in that weekend—completely contradicting what I’d been told on the phone. What made the interaction even more uncomfortable was him asking, “You have a double bed… are you going to be using both beds?” It was a confusing question, and when we said yes, he casually offered to switch us to a king instead. We agreed, though we left the conversation unsure what the purpose of that exchange even was. To their credit, we did receive a prompt text once the room was ready. The woman who helped us at check-in later was fantastic—super sweet, professional, and informative about the hotel’s amenities. But even she let us know there were no notes in the system about our room type change, which made the earlier interaction feel even more pointless. Once inside the room, things went downhill again. The room had a strong, musty smell—like mold—and was noticeably humid. The A/C barely worked and struggled the entire stay. Both beds sank in the middle and offered little support. We ordered room service that night, which took over an hour to arrive. By the time it finally showed up, we were ready to sleep and figured we’d eat it the next day… only to find the room didn’t even have a microwave. A 4-star hotel with no way to reheat food? Not acceptable. To top it off, the bathroom didn’t have a fan, so showers made the entire space muggy and uncomfortable. In short, this felt like a glorified Airbnb with poor maintenance and hit-or-miss customer service. Definitely not the standard I expect from a hotel with this rating or price point. I can strongly state that we will not be staying here ever again.
