It seemed to be in the heart of downtown, walking distance to multiple tourist attractions, stores, and restaurants. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and the conference rooms were pleasant. The hotel room was spacious and I couldn't really hear any neighbors, which I'm sure I had because the hotel seemed very busy. The bedding was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was A+. I also appreciated having a tub that I could more or less fit (5'8") in for a soak. I loved the scent of the bathroom toiletries! My view was nice, though I don't know if I'd really sell it as a lake view. The concierge service was helpful and quick to respond. I was here for work and wouldn't mind staying again if needed. There's also a small Starbucks in the lobby which was convenient, but there's also a full Starbucks right across the street. I guess my only gripe would be the finicky elevator key scanner to press the button for your room. Multiple guests always had trouble getting the timing, but I appreciate the security of guest rooms only being accessible with a key.
Three rooms to get something decent. First room (rooftop level of building beside and connected with the bottom of the window.) second safe did not work. The third ( which we stayed in had the adjoining door to the next room and you could hear all conversations through it. ( sorry neighbors) The staff was nice.
The best part of this hotel is the location. Aside from that it’s not my favorite Westin. The rooms were subpar. The sheets had forever stains on them, the bathroom had forever stains that were very noticeable. The staff is friendly. There was one staff member who kind of rude, asking one of us if we had a room at the hotel because we were waiting for our other guest to arrive. I noticed they didn’t ask anyone else that, there were a lot of people in the lobby too. One thing I really didn’t care for was the destination “fee” it’s an extra $15-$30 a day that’s added to your bill…you’re free to use it at the bar or Starbucks and just charge it to the room. They also offer free entry to multiple tourist attractions. My issues is this should be made known to the customer before hand. We already purchased tickets to some of those attraction and/or already had plans. So essentially we lost money because we couldn’t really utilize it. Probably wouldn’t stay at this hotel again
