Reception area is presentable though not reflecting a 5-Star hotel. Room design is nice but some stuff are not working properly, eg. control of lights is a pain... if i switched off the "main switch" next to the bed, it can't be turned on by the same switch, i've to walk in the total darkness to the switch at the entrance to turn on the lights. WiFi doesn't work without a China mobile number and worst of all, it has very weak signal. The breakfast at L2 is mediocre with little variety. At best, this Westin could be only a sub-4Star Hotel.

I’ve stayed at many Marriott hotels, but I've never encountered a Westin hotel as disappointing as this one. Upon arrival, the staff seemed disengaged, merely staring at their monitors, which made for a very awkward experience. While waiting for the elevator, the concierge, claiming to be busy, directed customers to take the next one, and then proceeded to take it himself. The phone in my room didn't work, despite two calls to the staff on speakerphone. It took three attempts before they replaced it, without any apology. The interior facilities were notably old and dirty compared to the building's exterior. When I asked a female employee about nearby tourist attractions in Ningbo, she appeared annoyed and deferred to the concierge, who unfortunately couldn't provide any useful information. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had, lasting until check-out.

Terrible Hotel Service , Long day working and had not eaten. Went to room and ordered room service which was difficult due to English understanding so I was not impressed with this. I checked in 930pm, No platinum arrival gift of beverage or snack. just points then I ordered room service. it took 50 minutes to get the order when it arrived the wine was incorrect and the server did not show me the bottle as he poured the glass and he did not ask me to taste it. After he left I decide to eat, and notice no french fries delivered and the sirloin steak(rmb348) was cold. Wine was wrong. I telephoned to complain and was told I wont have to pay , WOW what a help that was. I put food outside door to return. I decided to just go watch TV and sleep but then discovered TV Channels only 4 English all had interference so unwatchable I got a call 45 min later and was told the manager will explain to me what happen in the morning , But nobody contacted me or explained the reasoning.in the morning. I will not stay here again and will return to the Marriott
