Our corner room was lovely. The hotel location is at the far south end of the boardwalk area, in a fairly deserted section of downtown, but definitely walkable for us. It was nice that the grocery store was next door. Our big problem with our stay was the party noise upstairs that began around midnight. We didn't complain and tried to sleep. At 3:30am, the phone in our room rang, and it was the front desk saying they were getting noise complaints! Seriously? They just start calling random rooms rather than walking the floors to find our where the party actually was? We have been platinum elite for decades and are a couple in our 60's. Think before you walk up someone at 3:30am!
The room had a very small bathroom. The room was clean and cool for summer The buffet breakfast options were great, and so was the food. The pool was kinda dirty. The tile needs a good scrub. Customer service by Elizabeth at the front desk was awesome! Overall, it's a good hotel, and I'd stay again
I booked this hotel for a professional conference, expecting a clean, safe, and reliable stay. Unfortunately, what I encountered was far from acceptable. My room had visible growth on the ceiling—enough to make me physically ill and prevent me from attending more than one conference session. For a stay that cost me over $500 CAD per night, this was completely unjustifiable. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, I was told I couldn't change rooms and that housekeeping would inspect it. When they arrived, they casually mentioned they had seen similar growth in other rooms, which was incredibly alarming. It made clear that this was not an isolated incident—it was a known issue that hadn't been addressed. To make matters worse, I had originally been quoted a rate over the phone. A week before arrival, I shortened my stay from three nights to two. Without informing me, the hotel attempted to charge me more for the shorter stay. While this was eventually corrected after I pointed it out, such a discrepancy should never have occurred—especially without any notice. This experience was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. Between the health hazard in the room, the lack of support from staff, and the pricing inconsistencies, I would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere, especially if you're traveling for an important event or need reliability. If I could leave negative stars I would Response to owner: the fact that you use AI to respond to real customers is absolutely horrifying! Do not stay here they obviously do not care about customers!
