Really enjoy this Westin. Service is excellent - staff always acknowledges Elite status, and has been consistent at providing complimentary room upgrades. Rooms are smaller, but consistently clean. Bathrooms have good lighting, and the Westin heavenly beds are like sleeping on a cloud. There is self-park and valet. I tried the self park once, and it was annoying. The valet is timely and attentive and very good at having my car ready when needed. It's worth the extra $$. Rooftop pool, and a large gym. Walking distance to old town, restaurants, and bars. At Christmas time, it is decorated beautifully! They also have a sparkling water machine with different flavors which is a nice touch. The windows also crack in every room - who doesn't enjoy some fresh air?!

Just an OK hotel, not up to traditional Westin standards. The common areas are quite nice and the employees I encountered were all friendly and helpful, especially the valet staff. A slight room upgrade was offered as a Bonvoy Platinum member. Beyond that, the room was very rough around the edges. The bathroom was in desperate need of an update, did not have a locking door, and the room furniture was in poor condition. I had a room with two beds but it was too small, making use of the closet difficult. Lack of a club lounge is a big negative. I used breakfast coupons as my Platinum perk, but would have preferred more options that a lounge allows.

Avoid this hotel if you can. Here is my story: I arrived on 5/31 at 3pm. I was told the room is not ready. They sold out. Come back in an hour or so. I came back around 4:30pm. I was told the room is not going to be ready until 10pm or later. While waiting, I saw many people got their rooms and went to the elevators. I feel I am treated unfairly. Updates: I was able to get checked in right after my complaint call to Marriott.
