Had the best 4 night stay here. Absolutely recommend and would stay again. Every single staff member was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. This location is perfect if you’re looking for a more quiet, family friendly area. There are many different size pools to relax at. The beach view was amazing. The covered lounge chairs are free which I loved because most hotels charge insane prices per day. The Marioott Member Suite Ocean view was very clean with perfect view of the pools and ocean. Slightly on the smaller side but up to date appliances and bathroom. The food was fairly decent, reasonably priced. The drinks were delicious and refreshing. Their employees go above and beyond to provide the best service.

Mixed Experience at a Beautifully Located Resort The hotel boasts a prime beachfront location, but direct beach access is limited due to a cement wall, which takes away from the oceanfront experience. During our stay, the beach was covered in seaweed, which made it difficult to enjoy the shoreline. On the positive side, the resort features stunning pools, including a fun wave pool that’s perfect for young children. The in-room amenities, like the refrigerator, worked well. However, I felt the overall service could have been more reflective of the local culture. The restaurant options leaned heavily toward Italian and pizza—perhaps appealing to some, but it left me wondering: who comes to Cancun for Italian food? As longtime members of the hotel, our experience was especially bittersweet. A close family member dedicated over 30 years of service to this hotel, and yet, we felt the hospitality extended to us was less than what regular guests receive. It’s not a popular opinion, but I firmly believe employees and their families—who have shown deep loyalty—should be treated with exceptional appreciation and care. The hotel’s location in the hotel zone is convenient, but traffic in the area can be heavy, making it difficult to explore. If you plan to stay on the property and enjoy familiar, American-style comforts, it’s a solid option. However, for those wanting a rich cultural experience, you’ll need to venture into the city

I am here now! This hotel is great. It is right on the beach. The beach is accessible. The rooms are okay. We have an ocean view room. The windows only no balcony. The windows do open a few inches for air. The restaurants serve good food. The prices are comparable to American prices. $20-$30 for a meal local beer about $5 drinks are about $15. They have a market to buy your own stuff. The breakfast buffet is $30 per person but has large variety like stew fajitas guacamole. There are like 4 pools not crowded. The flow rider is nice. It’s $50 for one hour. It is worth it. The hotel is a little outdated but the staff upkeep it well. The beach is okay. Water tide is high but you can swim. You can walk across road to other seafood restaurants. It’s about 5-10 minute walk. The bus picks up right in front lobby if you want to go into town or mall. You can order pizza or Chinese food. They have room service 24 hours. The staff are amazing and respectful and professional. The hotel is 15 minutes from airport. There are loungers all over along the hotel, some are even in private areas right in front the pool which is nice. It is a decent hotel and I would come back.
