The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa

I stayed here this week and thought the place was just lovely. I noticed that some reviews mentioned that the rooms are a bit dated and staying on this side of the river was not as convenient as staying on the other side with the restaurants and shops, but I have a different take. The rooms were very, very clean (means a lot to me), and the beds were super comfy. I understand the idea of staying on the side of the river with the shops and restaurants, but using the ferry makes it very easy and the view that the Westin affords of the other side is second to none. The pool is also nice and quite large. In addition, the staff were attentive and customer service oriented. Parking is also easy and convenient.

Perfect place to stay! Very clean! Hospitality is 110% here. The only thing that was disappointing was the food. Way overpriced for what you got. Take the ferry to river street for food! I would still stay here over and over. This was a perfect 4 days! Thanks so much for having me!

Very nice hotel. Location is amazing with FREE ferry boat running to two locations across the river (Waving Girl and City Hall). You will go to the City Hall stop 90% of the time of you want to see Savannah. If you are in town for a conference at the conference center, this is a fantastic spot. The conference center is more or less attached to the hotel and this will be the best spot for you (you'll be very happy when all those people are loading up in line at the ferry and you are walking back to your room). The hotel is 1 - 2 minutes away! The rooms are okay but nothing special. Not bad, but basic. The pool area outback is nice with a bar and a lot of tents for shade. The bar in the hotel is nice. I didn't visit the gym, golf course, or restaurants at the hotel. The gym and golf course are separate from the hotel and are a short stroll down a street. The staff are helpful. This is a fantastic location to see downtown Savannah or attend a convention event.
