Stunning! I'm staying for a conference and the room we got was amazing. The windows were huge! Everyone there was the epitome of helpful and welcoming. The seating by the bar was beautiful and comfortable. The location can't be beat. Centrally located to all of the attractions. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go but I can see how it could be difficult for some people. The hills can't be daunting.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a business trip and was quite pleased with the experience. Upon checking in, my Marriott status earned me a lovely upgrade to a North Tower City View room on the 31st floor. The views of the city, both by day and night, were absolutely breathtaking and a definite highlight of the stay. The room itself had many positives: the bed was incredibly comfortable, the television functioned perfectly, and the overall quietness made for a restful night's sleep. However, I did notice a couple of areas for improvement. The bathroom mirror showed significant peeling of the reflective coating, which felt out of place for a hotel of this standard. Also, the closet light was quite dim, making it a bit challenging to see when accessing items. I enjoyed breakfast at the hotel on two occasions. My first breakfast, the traditional eggs Benedict, was a bit of a letdown as it came with regular bacon instead of the Canadian bacon specified on the menu. Fortunately, my second breakfast was much more satisfying. Despite these small points, my overall stay was very positive. I would readily recommend this hotel for anyone visiting for a conference or even for a personal getaway.

The Westin is known for having amazing beds and overly expensive food, and this location delivers on both. Luckily it's centrally located so you've got dozens of other options for food. The "warm brownie" was a crime against brownie kind. The pistachio creme cake, Caesar salad, poutine, short rib, Mac n cheese, seafood chowder and chicken wings were all really quite good though. There's a convenience/gift shop on the lobby with great souvenirs, including locally produced chocolate and other treats. The valet is slow, very slow. I think it's mostly because it's limited by the bldg design, and maybe they are understaffed 🤔 The water pressure in the shower was good, though it took a full 4 mins to come up to temp. Surprised to discover there was no mini fridge and only a mini bar in our room; if you're traveling with insulin you might need to talk to the main desk about options. This is the only Westin were I've had this issue so I don't know if it's every room or just some at this location. Cable channels were pretty limited (basic cable), but you can sign into your home streaming accounts. The elevators are a little slow, at one point there was almost 30 people queued up in the lobby one afternoon. The rooms are pretty quiet. The west facing windows let in quite a bit of heat in the late summer afternoon.
