The Westin South Coast Plaza Costa Mesa

We got in last night and have had an amazing stay so far. Everyone has been so helpful. This morning, woke up and had breakfast with Eladio, as our server and he went above and beyond and taking care of us on the patio, including getting security to turn on the heaters for us, the staff here is focused on hospitality, and that was so refreshing. Thank you for making our quick stay so comfortable.

Now our new crew hotel so I’ve been here several times. Nice hotel, nice people. The gym is clean. The gym music is very loud. It’s impossible to enjoy your own music on iPods. I’ve asked politely for the them turn it down every visit but every time returning it’s the same loud obnoxious music. Hope this might get a message to them. Thank you.

Let me just say “READ THE FINE PRINT!” I was checking in at 1 am and the lady would not take my husbands bank card for incidentals so I said “how much” and she said 125. I gave her 150 and she didn’t give me any change. She then proceeded to tell me that she was being nice because they actually require 500.00 cash for incidentals. The second night I had leftovers in my fridge that I needed to reheat and I called to see if there was a microwave I could use. The lady said I can rent one for 20.00 a night! Are you serious! So I’m already paying for food from your restaurant and I take the rest for later and you’re telling me I have to pay to reheat the food! 20.00 a night and I’m using it for probably 3 minutes. And be prepared to pay the high dollar self or valet parking. I have never seen a self park parking garage charge 45 a night and what’s up with a 75.00 valet parking fee???? It’s nice that it’s across from a fancy mall but that’s about it. The rooms are nothing fancy. The front desk lady with her mask on is rude and not helpful! She almost laughs at you when your not happy. This stay has made us decide we will never stay here again.
