The Westin Southfield Detroit

Hello, the stay was quite nice. Upon arrival the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I don’t have any of their names, but everyone I encountered each time I went to the front desk was very friendly. That being said, this review is for Sabra. She was our waitress at the hotel restaurant and she was amazing. The way she made sure that we were well serviced was incredible. I even noticed how she was going out of her way to make sure every table was well serviced. Sabra just knew how to serve people. It is only meant as a great compliment to her. Her attitude was a refreshing breath of air and when traveling you definitely need a person to be a breath of fresh air. Thank you Sabra you are amazing at your job.

This hotel was lovely. It looked gorgeous, the room was nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious. There wasn't a microwave in the room which was a bummer since we had leftovers to eat. Also there was an issue with the stairs going down to the lobby, they were soaked with water. But I would definitely stay here again!!

By far the best part of this stay was my interactions with Latrice at the front desk. She was super helpful during a crisis with colleagues and their delayed then cancelled flights and was able to remain flexible and accommodating with their rooms, always with a smile. She really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Also a shout out to Joy at Tangos who thoughtfully brought me an iced coffee without my even asking, just by remembering my earlier visit. Thank you so much!!
