The Westin St. Louis

Very convenient to Bush Stadium and other surrounding areas within walking distance. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. The hotel itself was somewhat ok when it comes to cleaning, the public bathrooms were terrible though. The rooms were clean for the most part aside from mold in the shower and musty smell. Beds were comfortable. No soap in the bathroom and the water ran brown filling up the tub. The restaurant was absolutely terrible with service and food. The waitress rolled her eyes twice at my husband when he asked for the check. We were in there for a very long time just for terrible food, super expensive for what you got and getting the water pitcher dumped in my son's lap and she just laughed about it. The parking is a joke. There is not sufficient parking, vehicles were all over the lot crammed in and i have no idea how many must get dinged daily. I would expect ALOT more for spending $473 just for 1 night! Definitely will stay somewhere else for that kind of money next time!

When we first called, I asked questions, and the rude person on the other end claimed “well, this IS a five star hotel!!” I thought I’d find out. Absolutely excellent staff, just getting through. Rat traps and broken down ice machines on every floor. Room was okay, but who cleans? Never saw one room being cleaned. Five star, no. If you really want a good experience, hang out with valet. Truly some of the hardest working guys I’ve seen. They took care of us the entire time. Tips were worthy!!! Three star at best.

This hotel was a complete disappointment! The rooms in the pictures are completely deceiving. This property is so dirty and the staff doesn’t seem to care. Upon arrive we had a duvet with multiple stains and our towels had hair on them. We figured it was a busy weekend and didn’t think much more of it. The corners in the room and side of the bed were so dusty that it triggered my niece’s asthma. The shower was lined with mold and a bathroom cabinet fell off on me while we were getting ready. I asked management if we would be able to move to a cleaner room and I was met with offer to leave for a refund as a resolution. I have reached out to Marriott about these issue was told that this property would reach out to me, it’s been a week and I haven’t heard anything from this hotel. Save your money and book a room at Live By Loews a few books over.
