Wonderful Turnaround & Memorable Stay at The Westin Tempe My experience at The Westin Tempe started off with a few challenges, but I’m truly impressed with how the team turned everything around. Despite initial hiccups with my room request and housekeeping, the staff—especially Mr. Andres Rodriguez—handled the situation with care and professionalism. They not only listened but took meaningful action to ensure my comfort. I was upgraded to a beautiful room with stunning views and excellent amenities, which made my stay truly memorable. It’s clear that the team values guest satisfaction and is committed to delivering a high standard of service. Thank you to the entire staff for making my final nights so enjoyable. I look forward to staying here again!
Very well designed and equipped rooms. There is a room-wide open shelf right under the TV to keep your personal items. The safe does not require a PhD in computer science in order to use it. The staff and manager are extremely attentive and took care of every little detail for us. Restaurant food was very fresh and really tasty! That was a surprise to me, as most hotel food is very bland and generally all tastes the same. Not this one! The restaurant stands on its own. The location is really cool. In just 20 minutes you can hike to the top of a small mountain, the Jayden Butte Reserve, with unbelievable views of the entire Phoenix area. There are several authentic Mexican food restaurants just a block away. Really good food there also. All in all, a very pleasant visit! Will definitely return. Highly recommended.
I shopped 3wks for the perfect hotel. Found the Westin that had an beautiful executive suite with separate shower and soaker tub. 4 nights at 278 a night plus tax, 120 amenity fees & 43 daily parking. At that price point I could not compromise. Got there and I was given an accessible suite #300. The view in the room was the top of a building with ac units. The curtains were disconnected from the controls on the wall and hanging off their railing, the shower was accessible & the air conditioner was very loud. Apparently there was water damage to ALL THE OTHER suites except this one. The Gentlemen at reception probably knew that I wasn't getting what I purchased. They allowed me my cancel my reservation with no penalty. Very grateful for that. I was extremely excited about that beautiful suite and that soaker tub but unfortunately they could not accommodate what I reserved. Bummed. I went around the corner to the Canopy.
