The Westin Tianjin

I appreciate this hotel. Despite its age, the lobby and rooms are maintained impeccably, exuding cleanliness and warmth. The rooms are notably spacious, treating guests to luxuries like a walk-in wardrobe and a rain shower. However, the true highlight is the 'software'—the staff's performance is exceptional. Their dedication to customer service is evident. Take, for instance, our experience: we arrived on a red-eye flight at 8:30 am, well before the standard check-in time. Nevertheless, the reception went out of their way to prepare a room for us so we could store our luggage and freshen up, all while waiting for our second room to be ready by noon. Their thoughtfulness was remarkable. The concierge staff were equally impressive, always eager to engage in friendly conversation and offer insightful travel advice for exploring Tianjin. The positive atmosphere in this hotel is palpable. 👍

Very good location which is near the Joy City and other malls. Lots of restaurants to choose from nearby walking distance. Room is great and nice view to the city landscape. Buffet breakfast has great varieties as well. Will stay here again!

This is the worst hotel that i stayed in yesterday under the Marriot group. The hotel is dirty, and the lobby toilet is not properly clean. The room is so hot with no air-conditioning and ventilation. And we ask for the reason, the staff said this is normal due to the weather outside is cold. Thus, the hotel decides to off the air-conditioning with only on centralized fan. They provide a stand fan, was lousy and noisy. We try to open the small windows, still no air from outside. It's very stuffy and we did not have good sleep the whole night.
