This is one of the best hotels in Tokyo. Not just the location or the spacious room and the beautiful large bathroom, but most importantly the customer service is 10 stars. They’re friendly, attentive and always ready to help you with whatever your needs may be. Definitely a GEM of a hotel.
Excellent service as usual. From arrival to check in, the stay to check out, everything was performed impeccably. The front desk noticed that my birthday was several days away and placed a box of chocolates and a congratulatory card in the room before I even checked in. Everybody was friendly and went out of their way to approach you to make sure your stay was as pleasant as possible. During checkout, the staff assisted with luggages and loaded our taxi for our departure to Haneda Airport. Location was excellent due to the close proximity of fine points of interest. Easily accessible and is quite close to the airport. Costs about 11000-13000 yen to take a taxi to Haneda Airport during rush hour, which is something that you couldn't do from a lot of the other Marriott properties. If you like to travel comfortably, this is the hotel to stay at.
My only knock on the Westin is the lounge. It's very crowded and cumbersome to get in, get out and you cannot bring a guest for free. Guests have to pay to join you. The room is fantastic. Shower, bed, table all excellent. The location is very good. Great access to the train station. Shopping and eating are less than a 3 min walk.
