Great business hotel. Perfect for a work trip. I stayed here for 2 nights in July. Loved the work desk in the room. Facilities are good. Gym has everything for a good workout session and no dearth of spa facilities. Was staying at one of their competitors in the past but never now. For all Warsaw trips - it will be the westin Pricing is reasonable from a business perspective. Centrally located. Breakfast buffet is perfect. They had even Indian menu choices. Wow. View from the lift is worth every penny.
Usually I don’t write reviews for places I stay for work, but this stay was worth reviewing. That mainly has to do with the efforts of the nice crew. A young group of passionate hospitality professionals; the cocktail guy, the hostess at breakfast, the people behind reception… all very friendly! Rooms are nice and clean. Food is good. And I personally really appreciated the complimentary Financial Times that is available.
I’ve been staying at the Westin Warsaw for the past 20 years, and while the service remains warm and efficient, the hotel is beginning to show its age. The facilities are around two decades old, and you can feel it - especially in the guest rooms, which are clean but clearly in need of a refresh. There are still many positives. The restaurant and bar are both very pleasant, and the fitness center is a highlight - well-equipped and open 24/7, which is a real advantage for frequent travelers. Breakfast was a very good experience overall. I asked for a small favor to find “ogórki kiszone” (Polish pickled cucumbers), and I got them with a smile - a lovely touch. However, the breakfast service itself lacked attention to detail. Staff weren’t very present, and empty plates were left piled up at the bar area, making the space feel a bit neglected and cheap. The Executive Lounge was also disappointing - it was so crowded in the evening that I couldn’t find a place to sit. That said, the staff on duty were doing their best, trying to clean and serve guests as efficiently as possible. One curious detail: there’s no coffee machine in the room - something that has become a standard in comparable hotels in Warsaw. Overall, it was a good and friendly stay, but it’s time for some investment and upgrades to bring the hotel back to top-tier standards.
