The Westin Washington D.C. City Center

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a fantastic one-night stay at The Westin Washington, D.C. City Center! From check-in to check-out, the service was exceptional. Trevor at the front desk really stood out — super friendly, professional, and thoughtful. When he saw I was heading out and noticed it was starting to rain, he immediately offered me an umbrella before I even asked. That kind of proactive hospitality made a big difference. My flight was in the evening around 7pm, and I checked out at 11am. The team was kind enough to let me store my backpack with valet so I could explore the city freely and return around 4pm to grab it. Everything was handled smoothly. The room was very clean, cozy, and welcoming. In the morning, I requested a dental kit and it was delivered quickly right to my door. I also picked up a chicken sandwich from the in-house Starbucks — it was surprisingly delicious! Even though I only stayed for one night, it truly felt like a home away from home. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended for comfort, location, and top-tier hospitality. 🌧️🏨✨

Really, a couple of things that get this hotel dinged are the slightly small rooms and the need for a little updating. Also, the breakfast is not complementary - it does cost around 25$ However. The customer service is second to none. As soon as you walk in the door, whether it is the first time or returning, you are met with a smile and hello. The manager is so pleasant, has a great sense of humor, and wants to guarantee the best stay possible and does what he can to make it so. The ladies and gents at the front desk are equally fantastic. Needed some stuff to shave, they had that. Complimentary water upon arrival. I had some leftovers that I wanted to heat up. There are no microwaves in the room. However, they literally sent a whole microwave up to my room. My sister and I were a little hot in our room, given the fact a major heat wave came through - they sent a fan that worked beautifully. Had a package delivered there, as soon as we walked down, they had it waiting for us. Breakfast was very tasty: eggs, bacon/sausage, fruit/yogurt, oatmeal, fresh made omelets, and waffles. The ladies who serviced breakfast were also so kind, respectful, pleasant, and attentive. A1! The cleaning staff did a great job! Never really had a chance to interact, but the rooms were always nicely turned down, and the towels and things were replaced daily. Lastly are the valet staff - exceptionally nice, attentive, and friendly as well. If that doesn't make you want to stay, then the location may just make it that much sweeter. The ability to get an Uber takes only minutes. Want to take the metro? It's about an easy 15 min walk. Want to go to fantastic restaurants, also just a walk away. Getting a bus is easy, too. It's definitely a place to consider if wanting a great DC experience.

One of my regular spots for business trips, and I can recommend it to others. Definitely is a fun atmosphere and the staff are great. I always feel very safe entering and exiting, and always am very quickly serviced at the front counter. Sometimes I've had some rooms that look a little bit more worn but I think that comes with the territory of a hotel like this. It has some history. Worth staying at and is priced competitively compared to other local options.
