The Westin Wuhan Wuchang

Very good hotel along Yangtze River. I felt that this hotel was the hotel that was supposed to be. Fascinating entrance hall, warm and kind receptionists, reasonably a large and clean room, and a very comfortable soft bed (and pillows), I really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. I stayed at this hotel in my business trip, but I think I am staying here with my family on vacation!

Very impressive entrance and great location however guests were smoking in front of the lift and my room smelled cigarette although I specifically asked for non-smoking room prior to booking. I wasted 30 minutes time late at night before having a correct room.

Only one star given because I could not select zero stars. Avoid this hotel if you value your privacy and safety. Even with the do not disturb sign on my door the hotel manager came into my room while I was there. As I tried to get him to leave he put his foot down so that I couldn't shut the door. He must have thought I wasn't there and was looking to take something from my belongings. From that point on I found him following me around the hotel. Seriously creepy person. Aside from this, the internet speeds are about as fast as dial up. The food on the first floor buffet was simply awful. Worst hotel experience of my life bar none!
