The Westin Zagreb

While the facilities at the Westin Zagreb could benefit from some renovation — with dated interiors and wavy corridor carpets that hint at the hotel's age — the location is excellent and puts you right in the heart of the city. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the staff. From check-in to check-out, every team member I encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. Their professionalism, warmth, and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference. In fact, the exceptional service made me overlook the physical wear and tear of the building. The team is undoubtedly the hotel’s greatest asset — they are the reason I’m giving five stars. With such people at the helm, the Westin Zagreb still delivers a memorable and positive stay.

A great hotel with a strategic location. Many tourist groups stay here, because when I was there, large groups were arriving and departing every day. The rooms are clean, spacious, and have comfortable beds. The bathroom is quite clean, but the tap water doesn't seem to be drinkable, as there's no information on that. The hotel's design is a bit outdated but well-maintained. There's a spacious gym with a wide selection of exercise equipment, a large swimming pool, and a spa. I really liked the infused water always available in the lobby as a complimentary treat.

After an absolutely miserable tour of Croatia, my family and myself were so very grateful to end it staying here at this absolute heaven of a hotel compared to everywhere else we’d been in the country. The staff were friendly, the rooms comfy and air conditioned and the room service was quick and tasty. Thank you Westin!
