The White Hart Hotel & Restaurant

What a lovely time we had. The staff were so kind and welcoming. They were not serving food the evening we stayed, but kindly advised good places to eat and said we could eat our takeaway curry there. We were given plates and cutlery. As we sat in the garden to listen to the band, they were about to sing their last song. We voiced our disappointment at this and then the band agreed to carry on to entertain us whilst we stuffed our faces. How lovely! A great atmosphere with the locals and staff deserving an after duty pint! Room was beautiful. Breakfast delicious. We had a lovely stay. Thank you. Jenny and Daz xx

I had a chicken cesarean salad and it was perfect. A friendly pub, great place to have q drink and have a game of pool! Will be back to catch some live music

Great location for Clock Barn wedding venue and also walkable from Whitchurch train station. But very very tired inside. I stayed in a King Room and it was very generous in size but run down - mucky carpet, in desperate need of a lick of paint, holes in bedsheets. The bathroom was well cleaned but again run down and someone had spilt decorators paint in the bath. I think this is a 3* hotel rather than a 4* and currently over priced for the quality.
