This was a top-notch bed and breakfast. It was amazingly clean, beautifully furnished, very comfortable and inviting, and the scenery was breathtaking! Yvonne was a lovely innkeeper and I was just taken with her sweet pup Bentley! The breakfast was mouth wateringly delicious with a selection of fruits, warm homemade muffins, fluffy eggs, and blueberry pancakes. Be sure to pick up A mug with the name and picture of the Inn on it or a lovely embossed soap to remember your amazing visit!
The White Oak Inn is a beautiful gem, tucked quietly in the outskirts of Amish country. Nestled against the woods at the bottom of the valley, it’s a wonderful getaway to unplug and relax. If you are looking for a personable little break from the world, the White Oak Inn is the place! Yvonne, Ian, and Bentley (playful pup) warmly greet you as you check-in to their Bed and Breakfast. As they guide you to your room, you can feel their welcome and joy in meeting new guests. We booked the Red Bud Room with a fireplace and king-sized bed in the guest house. It was clean and well-prepared with kindling for a warm fire to keep you warm as you cozy up with a good book. Breakfast is part of the package and it was delightful! I was grateful that we also reserved an additional dinner as Yvonne created such a wonderful dishes with Ian ensuring quality presentation of the meal. Delicious and comforting, dinner was perfect on the snowy night we spent. Conversation with our hosts and other guests provided delightful entertainment.
A pleasant and quiet country inn, serving breakfast and dinner. The Inn is located in a very scenic part of Ohio, near the Kokosing River and Amish country. The Innkeepers are informal, friendly, and knowledgeable about other local attractions.
