In the way out I called her Super Nova we had laugh 🤗 I was telling my friend how good it is so she is booking afternoon tea for a few of us in September 😊

Went for the Tea for 2 and it was lovely the staff were great making sure everything was OK. The table we were at had nice views out to the balcony and beer garden through the open bi fold doors. Everything was nicely presented and clean would definitely go back

We attended a young lady's 60th last night at this venue and was impressed. With the interior. However. We had to pre order our meals as we were a surprise addition to the party that the young lady was unaware of. After pre drinks we moved to the top platform which had been set in a horseshoe and laid out nicely and after a while. The food was brought out. I am afraid to say that at this point it let itself down. A jug or water was requested on more than one occasion and failed to arrive. Upon receiving my wife's meal I had to ask on more than one occasion for the extra. Portion of chips (they don't do half rice half chips) and I received, my pie with a meagre amount of mash and then had to wait a significant amount of time for the seasonal vegetables which I had to chase. I could have eaten most of my meal by the time these arrived (some of our party were practically half way through their battered fish chips and peas) I held my tongue at the time as I did not. Wan to embarrass our hosts and when I went to pay others of the party were close by so I kept my council. This was our first visit to the establishment and as I say the facilities were impressive however the service left. Something to be desired. Patrick. Scunthorpe
