I stayed for one night on a Friday, and the experience was truly impressive. The hotel’s public areas are exceptionally well-designed — it’s rare to see such refreshing and aesthetically pleasing spaces in North America. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I also appreciated the beautiful patterned design at the entrance of the room — a small detail, but very tasteful. As a Marriott Platinum member, I noticed the day before my stay that I had been upgraded from a standard guest room to a Grand Deluxe King. However, on the actual day of check-in, that was changed to a Club Level Guest Room instead. Since the club lounge is closed on weekends, this “upgrade” didn’t offer any real additional benefit — which was a bit disappointing. That said, everything else was excellent, and overall, it was a much better experience than my later stay at the JW Marriott. Would definitely return!
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I felt very safe during our visit, and thankfully, there were no issues with my vehicle. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and informative, making the experience even better. My little one absolutely loved the candy bowls she couldn’t get enough of them! I also appreciated the convenience of being able to walk to Lenox Mall and having a variety of restaurants nearby. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again.
Clean, Spacious, and Friendly—but Not Worth the Price Tag I recently stayed at The Whitley Hotel in Atlanta and had a decent experience, but one that left me questioning the overall value. The positives: the rooms are exceptionally clean and very spacious—definitely a strong point. The staff was great across the board: friendly, professional, and attentive, which added a nice touch to the stay. That said, for the price, the amenities are surprisingly limited. There just isn’t much offered that sets this property apart in the luxury category. The real sticking point is the parking. Self-parking is \$50 *each time* you leave and return, which is incredibly inconvenient if you’re planning to come and go. The alternative is valet parking, which is \$65 for the stay—not per day—but that still means your \$210 room jumps to \$275 for the first night. For that kind of money, there are likely more luxurious options in Atlanta with better perks and less hassle. In short: great rooms, great staff—but the overall value doesn’t quite add up.
