The Whod Have Thought It Inn

This is an absolute gem of a pub! Rang super last minute after a day hiking Dartmoor and we were starving. Maria managed to squeeze us all in (me, my partner and our three collies!) for tea within half an hour. Absolutely excellent service and friendly staff! We went on pie and pint night and it was busy but service was excellent and waiting staff were attentive. Food was incredible and portions were generous! Really recommend a visit if you’re in the area and it also has rooms so you could stay. If ever we return we would 100% go back. Thank you so much :)

We have come here many times but last night was definitely the best yet! They ran a taste of Vietnam evening and it was honestly some of the best food I've ever eaten. Each dish was beautiful, fresh and full of flavour. I can't wait to try some more of their themed nights! The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming, the staff are always so friendly and accommodating. The selection of alcoholic and 0% drinks is fab and they are so dog friendly.

Absolutely loved this Inn. We booked it as a random stopover on our way to visit a puppy, and now we plan to bring him back when he’s older for a longer stay even though it’s 5.5 hours from home! We were made very welcome, the room was relaxing, comfortable and cosy. Huge bed in the super-king room with a great mattress - I slept like a dream - it was also so quiet in the tucked away valley. I really fell in love with the location. The food was exceptional too - I will be talking about the crumble for a long time to come! What more could we ask for? So glad we stumbled across this little gem and we hope to be back again soon. Thank you to everyone who made it so enjoyable.
