We hosted our most recent Workshop at The William Vale, and we honestly could not have picked a better venue. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make the experience exceptional. Zach helped us get started with pricing and availability, and from there, Myya handled our arrangements and payments flawlessly. Kiara took care of all our bookings, including the many changes we had to make, and did it effortlessly with a smile! Madeline was on point with food and beverage setup. She helped us pick the perfect menu for our meetings as well as our Rooftop welcome reception at Westlight. The food was perfect and the presentation was even better. Chris from operations made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. From start to finish the entire team was amazing! They respected our budget, worked with us on every detail, and delivered a level of service that was professional, accommodating, and thoughtful. I can't say enough great things about the entire team. If you’re planning an event in Brooklyn, The William Vale should be first on your list. It is an amazing place filled with amazing people!
I booked The William Vale mainly for the view—and it absolutely delivered. But what impressed me the most was the cleanliness. As we were getting ready to check out, I heard someone cleaning the balcony next door. Since the balconies are open between units, I could clearly hear the sound of someone scrubbing each tile with a brush. That level of attention to detail really stood out, especially to someone like me who values cleanliness so much. It made me trust the hotel even more. If I had to mention one minor downside, it's that even though we booked for two people, there was only one bathrobe and one pair of slippers. It really wasn’t a big deal at all—we didn’t need the robe, and I usually travel with my own slippers. I’m sure if we had called the front desk, they would have brought extras right away, as the service here was excellent. I'm just noting it in case someone finds the extra step of requesting items a bit of a hassle. Honestly, the view here is so good, even having instant noodles on the balcony feels special. I’ll definitely be back.
I've never stayed in a hotel with better service. The front desk, the concierge, the housecleaning staff, the staff at the restaurant, the staff at the bar... Everyone seemed singularly focused on making sure my wife and I had a great time. The room itself was great. It was big by NYC standards (small by almost any others), but the balcony was roomy and offered a beautiful view of the Manhattan skyline. I'd have loved a subway stop a bit closer to the hotel, but other than that, the location was great.
