This is truly an experience! My husband and I stayed here at The Willows for his 75th birthday! It was as if we were in paradise. The rooms were period perfect for 1928 yet very up to date. It was surprisingly peaceful and serene. There are very few rooms so the privacy is huge and the noise is almost non existent. The sounds of birds chirping and trickling water is very common on the grounds. It was as if we were a guest at someone's luxury mansion. There is private and safe parking and the staff are very kind and accommodating. The 3-course complimentary breakfast was served in a beautiful dining area with the view of a stunning rock wall will a waterfall. The food was fantastic. There is also a complimentary wine and appetizer hour that is sensational! We will definitely be back again to this hidden gem! We loved it!!!!
This has to be one of my best finds. I've stayed three times at The Willows and this place alone makes me want to go back to Palm Springs time and again. The location, 400m from the Art Museum, is so central and yet so quiet. The rooms are all comfortable, spacious and of a high standard. The fixed breakfast offering is a sheer delight. The staff are all relaxed and friendly. The grounds are filled with flowers and birdsong. The Willows doesn't have too many rooms so it is always peaceful. In the evening they have complimentary wine and snacks which creates a friendly atmosphere and encourages interaction with other guests. 6 stars!
Our room (Rose) was comfortable and clean. All the staff were wonderful. The landscaping throughout the grounds is incredible and I really like how everything is tucked against the hillside with winding paths. You can climb up the hillside garden with plenty of benches from which to enjoy the views. Breakfast was easy and just how we like it, few decisions, just sit right down in front of a waterfall and friendly people bring you delicious food. it is an easy walk to all the action along the main streets but is tucked away and quiet. I'm generally a fan of contemporary design and fresh new buildings, but I loved this and would certainly visit again if I am in Palm Springs.
