We stayed at the Woodlands Resort, Curio Collection, for two nights, and it was an amazing experience for the whole family! We booked a pool walk-out room, and it was the best decision, we could step right out and be at the pool within seconds. The kids had an absolute blast swimming from morning to night, and there were so many fun activities throughout the day to keep them entertained. We enjoyed food ordered right by the pool, a delicious morning buffet, and relaxing evenings at the bar. The front desk staff and the team at the morning buffet were amazing, sorry I can’t remember their names, but their service really made our stay special. We came to celebrate both a birthday and our wedding anniversary, and it truly felt like a special getaway. Highly recommend this resort for families looking for a fun and memorable stay!

A nice hotel nestled in the beautiful trees of The woodlands and conveniently located near great dining, shopping, and the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Rooms are a decent size and quite comfortable. The pool area and lazy river are great for kids but a splash free zone for adults without kids would have been much appreciated. Poolside food and drinks are ok, but the service was frustratingly slow and non-existent at times. Some areas of the resort are dated and could use an upgrade, but overall a good time at a reasonable cost.

The water park was ransacked with people that didn’t have bracelets and over crowed. (No chairs available) The front desk seemed upset about it but seems like it’s a common thing personally because the next day, same story. The wait staff was fast and great delivering food and drinks to your chair…if you can find a chair that’s open. Security slaps warning stickers on your car freely if parked in the front longer than 2 hours even though the sign says “No overnight parking”. We parked there at 6:10am and at 10am we had one of those hard to remove stickers. We followed the signs but security said 2 or so hours at most but there isn’t a sign that says that, just no overnight. $23 for security to remove the sticker. They charge a $75 a day resort fee; not $45 as it states online. It includes self parking and morning coffee; items that should be complementary anyway, besides access to the water park. The water park allows $100 day pass but seems like it’s $100 a van load and not per person. The “resort” doesn’t have the feel of fancy, more like a Disney resort but less visuals in my opinion. The front desk and staff were friendly so I have to give them two thumbs up. Room beds are comfortable and AC worked great in the rooms. Dog friendly for $100
