Last time we stayed at Geneva we stayed at a very big name / brand hotel but were disappointed as the rooms were aged....so we looked hard this time and researched and we found the Woodward. Positioned not far from the fountain and a short walk into the main part of town we love the position which is situated beside the Lake. Our room has a view of the lake. The detail in the rooms are stunning I love in particular the timber flooring and timber cupboard, the bathrooms are immaculate, the artwork, the minibar is included except alcohol. We were in a deluxe suite...it is by no means cheap but you don't get this standard without paying for it. The Spa and pool area are also immaculate...the whole place is very clean. Exceptional hotel....we will return whenever in Geneva
The best hotel in Genève, the Spa is amazing, specially the sport room, my favorite sport coach is Cyndie, specials for Yoga class 😊 But as well the another coach’s are amazing. If you’ll plan to visit the hotel, you have to try it. Always so happy.
I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant at the lounge at The Woodward Geneva. I had a Sensha Green Tea from Palais d’Été—delicate and very good. The citrus pie was excellent, with a well-made dough filled with high-quality almonds, and the fruity notes nicely balanced the sweetness. As expected, prices are quite overinflated, but considering the prime location and stunning view, it offers reasonable value, especially on a beautiful weather day—even better in summer. The service was quite slow, which was a bit disappointing, though I’m unsure if it was due to the kitchen or overall staffing. That said, the atmosphere was lovely, with a soft musical background, making for a pleasant and refined experience overall. ⭐ 4/5 – Worth visiting for the ambiance and quality, but service could be improved.
