The Wookey Hole Inn

We are staying in one of the lodges at Wookey Hole Caves and this pub is literally across the road. After reading reviews we decided to book for a meal. Absolutely amazing. We were greeted very warmly by the bar staff. We ordered food and it was DELICIOUS! It was a very hot evening so we ate in the beer garden. Lovely atmosphere! We booked to eat there again this evening and had the same great service and again, the food was amazing! The onion rings are seriously to die for! Trust me! I had the vegetable quiche both times we went and loved it! Hubby had cowboy burger first night and chicken burger tonight…..presentation was great too. Definitely worth calling in!!

We stayed in Wookey Hole for our anniversary, and we decided to have an evening meal here, after popping in for an afternoon drink earlier in the day. We loved the style and personality of the restaurant and bar, with interesting artwork throughout. All of the staff we met were excellent. They were all friendly and attentive, making sure we were satisfied and happy with our meals. I wish we stayed here instead of the hotel across the road. We will definitely book here if we come back in future. Thank you for a lovely evening 🙏

Just got back from an overnight stay at the Wookey Hole Inn,and what a lovely place to stay. Loved the decor through out and the quirky things in our room,the mermaid table and the door to the bathroom.... like something from a Hobbit House... we've never seen anything like that before. We arrived Saturday lunchtime time and everyone was friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble,the food was excellent and a nice selection of drinks, from the usual selection of lagers,a couple of real ales and some ciders including Cornish Rattler. Our evening meal was really good as well with busy and polite waiting staff making sure everything was fine. Breakfast in the morning ranged from the Full Wookey, Small Wookey, Continental and poached or scrambled eggs....but I did get the impression you could ask for any combination and it wouldn't have been a problem. Loved our stay, unfortunately only for one night, but wouldn't hesitate to go back. Well done to all the staff at the Inn and a great place to celebrate my 65th birthday Thanks again everyone.
