As always, the hotel and staff delivered exceptional service. This hotel is ideal and in a perfect location for Dancers. The Ballroom is a great size. What makes it so special is the efficiency of the staff in dealing with large groups like ours. We had 89 dancers on our weekend and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. Our Saturday evening Gala Ball dinner was in the Ballroom and the service was brilliant. The hotel and staff have the ability to make it all look easy and everything was ready for us from the moment we arrived to the moment we all left. Brilliant Hotel.
Beautiful hotel in the centre of Malvern, great location with everything you need in walking distance. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was firm and comfortable, we slept very well. Surprisingly no fridge in the room and no mini bar. The bathroom is rather long and narrow. I am a slim person but had to go slightly sideways to get to the shower. Staff were friendly and helpful, there is a bar and a restaurant but Malvern has so much to offer, we didn't spend much time there. Definitely a nice place to stay for a few nights.
Every time I visit the Morgan Factory (and I do quite often) I tend to stay at The Abbey. If I'm honest, it is not the last word in luxury but the rooms are adequate and acceptable, the breakfast is fine and the staff always friendly and helpful. The parking is plentiful, clean and secure, and you are right in the middle of town so lots of choice when it comes to places to eat. This time I opted for a single room but because the ambient temperatures were so hot it was not that easy to get comfortable but that is my fault for being a cheapskate. Next time I will go for a standard double and pay the extra. At least there was a fan in the room and it was clean and pleasant. Just tiny... All in all, familiar and pleasant.
