The Wynstone

We had the pleasure of staying at the Admiral Farragut. The room/bed was very comfortable and the whirlpool bath was a nice extra feature. The area was quiet and relaxing while only being 2 blocks from the main strip in Newport. The staff was extremely friendly and breakfast was simply amazing. We will definitely return :)

We ended up booking a room at this inn at the last minute, and we are so glad that it worked out! Rick was incredibly helpful - he regularly called to see if we needed anything and was very hospitable. The historic inn was lovely, our room was clean, the mini fridge was stocked with drinks, and the bed was so comfortable!! And the location can't be beat.

Although great location, extremely difficult to get in and out of parking lot. Front stairs steep and difficult to navigate. Once inside the room there was a stagnant odor which indicated it had not been used or cleaned properly.Towels had horrible odor. Bathroom sink did not drain and toilet clogged. After settling in we found a used condom package, which verified room had not been properly cleaned. This was all brought to the attention of the owner he did not seem concerned and chalked it up to people make mistakes. If your looking for location it’s a great place but would not pay anywhere near asking price
