The Yard in Bath Hotel

We loved our short two-night stay at The Yard. We booked room 8 which had a roof terrace. As we were lucky enough to have fabulous weather, we used this a lot. The bathroom was excellent. We really enjoyed the picnic breakfast which we ordered the night before and ate on our terrace, having fresh barrista coffees delivered by using the WhatsApp messaging system. If you have a smaller room or the weather is bad, you can eat breakfast in the bar area. Breakfast was great value and beautifully served. A warm croissant was accompanied by butter, jam and a huge kilner jar of yogurt, granola and fruit compote. Plus a generous bottle of orange juice was included for £8 pp. There was a coffee machine in the room and fresh milk in the mini bar free of charge. I liked the big, chilled water in the room and the rest of the mini bar was well priced. Quality glasses, China and cutlery were also available to use in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable and an air conditioning unit was available. Everything in Bath is within easy walking distance of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed for a long weekend at The Yard in Bath and was really pleasantly surprised. The rooms we booked had a roof terrace and the room itself was immaculate! Lovely little minibar and a beautiful bathroom with a big shower. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The communal area was tastefully decorated and has a wonderful little courtyard for relaxing. There are no real kitchen facilities so breakfast was at a lovely place called Sydney's 2 mins down the road from the hotel. We did have the option to order a breakfast hamper to the room, but decided we wanted a fuller menu to choose from. We really couldn't fault anything, but it would be lovely to have a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries and a socket for electric shavers/toothbrushes. We have already booked our next stay this year...no better recommendation than that I guess.

Absolutely wonderful stay in one of the courtyard rooms on the ground floor. Paid for parking right across the street, reasonable compared to other local parking options and your car is visible from the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was delivered and left outside the room each morning - hamper of fresh juice, pastries, jam, yoghurt and granola was more than enough to set us up for the day. Gorgeous hotel, will be staying here again.
