If you're tired of clinical chain hotels and glossy lobbies that could be anywhere, The Zetter Clerkenwell is your antidote!! This boutique townhouse manages to feel both intimate and layered - part living room, part daydream. The rooms are wildly charming: think jewel-toned upholstery, whimsical art, canopy beds, and vintage touches that make it feel like the set of an indie film you’d want to star in. Breakfast is a strong start (the Full English is excellent), and lunch or light bites at Wilhelmina’s Lounge are worth sticking around for - especially with cocktails like the Curry Leaf Daiquiri and small plates that go beyond the usual suspects. Afternoon tea is its own moment entirely - unexpected and perfectly over-the-top in all the right ways! The staff? Sharp, stylish, and genuinely helpful without being overbearing. A soulful stay that still feels distinctly London. Would absolutely stay again!

The hotel is over-priced for the quality you are receiving. You can honestly get more for your money elsewhere. Paid £341 pounds for one night. There was no breakfast included and no other benefits. The location is solid because you’re close to a lot of attractive places but that’s honestly it. I’ve stayed at cheaper hotels with more to offer.

Would recommend going elsewhere for the price tag, in all honesty. The downstairs bar has a lovely vibe, but aside from that, the front-of-house staff are non-existent; the rooms are poorly maintained, amenities are outdated, and simple add-ons are often forgotten/missed. Far better hotels to go to if you're visiting London.
