Great location in the middle of Venlo. Rooms are spacious and services very friendly and helpful. A bit expensive for what is offered. Breakfast cannot live up to the 4 stars standard.
The hotel is strategically located in the middle of the venlo shopping area. It's surrounded by several highly rated restaurants. The reception and entry to the hotel is disconnected and it's a hassle for people who haul heavy luggage as there are few steps you need to carry them before reaching the elevator. The hotel is generally fully booked, so if you need late checkout, chances are you may not get it. So plan this into your journey.
We stayed last week. It used to be a very good "price & Quality" hotel - now it's just a price hotel. We paid approx 150€ for room & breakfast. The room was cold and stinky. The empty Minibar was switched on, and it was blinking like in a mirror ball. The only way to stop that was to unplug it ! Then we opened the windows curtains and SURPRISE (!!) First raw on a pipe!! (see photo) NO fresh air came, but stinky/oily kitchen smell 🤢 so we closed the window right away!! Fortunately, it is winter! *lol* Breakfast: The buffet is absolutely not appetizing. Lots of plastic portions packaging Coffee was very BITTER The wholemeal bred was already finished at around 9:00 and no fresh supply We left and had a great breakfast in a nice Café. At least the location is perfect
