As a seasoned traveler who frequents 40+ hotels annually, it's rare to encounter a place as captivating as the Theatre Hotel in (near) Olomouc, Czech Republic. This boutique gem, with a mere 20 rooms, orchestrates a hospitality experience that resonates like a beautifully conducted symphony. Reception: A Masterpiece of Design Upon entry, the chic sophistication is palpable. The lobby, adorned with supple leathers, rich textiles, and dramatic furniture, feels like a warm embrace of luxury. The centerpiece is an espresso machine, a sculptural marvel in copper, setting the stage for a unique experience. Act One: A Nature-Inspired Journey The hotel interior is a tribute to Mother Nature's evolving beauty. Navigating through the hotel feels like a delightful exploration, discovering new details with each step. The standard rooms defy their name, offering spacious luxury, while the Jr. Suites are so homely, one might wish to stay forever. Act Two: Scene Wellness Center The Scene Wellness Center is where sophistication meets serenity. With its mood lighting and varied relaxation zones, it offers a spa experience that's both lavish and therapeutic. The deep tissue massage I received was a profound encounter of relief and realization, highlighting the therapist's skill in addressing hidden stress points. Finale: Entrée Restaurant Entrée, the hotel's fine-dining restaurant, is a culinary ode to nature. Its decor, from the plant-adorned walls to the fish sculpture ceiling, is a visual feast. Verdict Every aspect of the Theatre Hotel, from its nature-inspired design to its world-class amenities, is thoughtfully crafted. It's a rare find in Olomouc, setting a high bar for luxury and comfort. Really great hotel. Excellent room furniture and equipment - the designer did a great job. Great breakfast - be careful with coffee - is stronger than standard. The price level is at higher range for Olomouc city. There is spa and massages as well but didn't have time to enjoy it.

I will start with the good thing: Rooms are new, clean and beautifully designed. But that is about it. TV signal was really bad, we couldnt watch neither TV nor YouTube on TV. Welness was a really unpleasant surprise. You will pay 500+ czk per person to "book" a specific time in the wellness just to realize it's completely crowded as they have booked 10+ more people for the same time. Breakfast was really nothing special as well. Scrambled eggs were really runny, poor selection of vegetables etc... All in all, I really don't think it's worth the high-end price.
