We thoroughly recommend the Theatre Royal Hotel. Having stopped in there for lunch on a previous trip we were keen to go back for a stay and were not disappointed. The hotel has been lovingly restored retaining many of its period features. Our room was clean and cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and engaging throughout our stay. Top marks to manager Barbara and Sinny in the restaurant was a delight. The row of awards on the mantle piece were well and truly deserved. We’ll most certainly be back having already planned for early next year if not before as well. 5* all round
The service was excellent throughout our stay. The food at the hotel was delicious and beautifully presented. We rented the villa for 8 people, and when we arrived, the house was warm and cozy, with everything we needed. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and we truly appreciated the attention to detail and the warm welcome. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable!
Such a lovely historic hotel! The hotel is kept in immaculate condition and my suite, Annie’s room was cosy, comfortable and very quaint. The staff were fantastic and really went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and very well looked after. I had lunch and dinner in the hotel and the food and hospitality was excellent! The next morning I had the continental breakfast - which was perfect. I recommend Theatre Royal Hotel highly and will look forward to staying again :)
