Gorgeous hotel. Calm and relaxing with excellent food. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
Pulverer is an experience where luxury and tradition meets. With the exclusive wellness section and the fine dining restaurant, this hotel is worth visinting. If you want to unwind after a long day of skiing, this is the best place for you. Highly recommended.
The amenities and general infrastructure (e.g., indoor pool, bar, general atmosphere) are well maintained and are as great as advertised. The location is relatively walkable. It is a well-established location that has been here for a long time and seemingly operated by the original Pulverer family. But the staff running this hotel are rude, especially in the restaurant. This hotel is NOT family friendly or worth the five stars they have long enjoyed. I must warn you that the service staff at Thermenwelt Hotel Pulverer are great when you ask and expect nothing, but become unpleasant, rude and even racist when you really need any assistance whatsoever. They demonstrated this during my family's 2-day Christmas vacation here. My family has children, ages 3 months to 9 years old. We were told this was a family friendly hotel. It seemed like a perfect fit. It was not. They assign every guest room a table for breakfast, snack and dinner. You are not allowed to change your table even if another guest yells at your children because they are being too loud and then publicly and loudly demanding that the parents put the children to bed. This is normally recognized as unacceptable behavior at a hotel that values all their guests and one that claims to be family friendly. However, the staff did nothing. The next day at breakfast when my family asked to move away from the very rude guests the staff declined because there is a rigid assigned seating policy. No exceptions. It ruined the entire trip because you eat all of your meals at the same table at the only restaurant on site. We ended up eating the rest of our meals in our rooms. Maybe the staff were just stressed during the holidays but that is no excuse. It made my family feel guilty for having children. Their inability to handle a dispute between guests ruined my family's Christmas. This place has a nice pool but they need to probably find some staff that understand the concept of hospitality quick if they want to last another few decades.
