Thessalikon Grand Hotel is a stylish oasis for travelers. The room's elegant decor, along with the beautiful mirrors in the bathroom, created a chic ambiance. The gym was well-equipped for those who like to stay active during their stay.

For a five star hotel I am a bit dissatisfied. The food was pretty low quality and very dry.My biggest problem was the toilets’ doors.THEY WERE MADE OUT OF BLURRY GLASS.You could see whatever was happening in there and it could not close so there was always a gap.It was like there was no door.In every single room. Not deserved the five stars

The 5 stars next to its name is a grand lie. The hotel is struggling to meet even 3 star standards and criteria. Rooms were spacious but dated and room amenities were non existent - the towels were clean but showed their age, the rooms were without blankets or any bed cover to protect from cold autumn nights. Room cleaning was mostly absent, with not a single cleaning trolley in sight (how discreet, lol) - both days we had to explicitly request for it. The hotel was understaffed, with only 4 people, the same 4, visible during our 3 day stay. The grounds were neglected as if time stopped a couple of decades ago. Finally, heating was non available for our first day there, we had to sleep in our clothes - they claimed a hotelwide heating malfunction, we suspected that they were pinching pennies when they had only 10 guests and they finally turned it on the next day when the hotel had about 50. Oh, and the food at the restaurant was both limited in choice and unimaginative. Only the hotel employees managed to escape that sense of overall misery but even while they tried, I would describe their service as mediocre. I hate giving bad reviews but this place was really a disappointment, it failed our modest expectations which were signalled by the low room prices quoted. Their 4 star competitors in Karditsa give true 4 star facilities and service at a mere 20-30 euros premium per night - unfortunately they were fully booked and we ended in Thessalikon Grand.
