theWit Chicago a Hilton Hotel

Great location. Gorgeous views from rooms. Nice to have the rooftop and restaurant in the hotel. Otherwise little to no amenities. The small lobby was constantly overcrowded. The staff seemed bothered by the guests rather than eager to help.

The rooms were very comfortable. The location was great. My only recommendation is that the girls at the front desk smile and be more friendly. It was my first time staying at this hotel. The girl who checked me in didn’t welcome me, didn’t smile, just handed me my key for room gave me no direction to were elevators or what floor my room was on. When I asked the said the answer as if I should’ve known. I wanted to stay here because I thought it was somewhat of a luxury hotel I wanted to experience and I got better service at the hotels I paid $150.00 a night vs the $600 a night. I was very disappointed with the lack of appreciation for my business.

We stayed here for a quick getaway to see the Cubs vs Redsox game and wanted to spend the evening after the game on the rooftop bar at the hotel. That's the reason we chose to stay there. Much to our surprise, the rooftop was closed to a private event. I have no problem with having private events, just wish we were told that prior to booking the room so we could prepare.
