I stayed at this hotel for three nights during my business trip in June, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment you walk into the lobby, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The lobby itself is beautiful — stylish, spacious, and instantly makes you feel welcome. One of the standout features for me was that the hotel is dog-friendly. As someone who loves traveling with my pet, this is such a big plus and truly sets the tone for a more relaxed and home-like stay. The amenities were excellent. The gym was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for keeping up with workouts while traveling. The overall maintenance of the hotel was top-notch — everything felt cared for and thoughtfully designed to enhance comfort. A fantastic choice for both business and leisure travelers. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff were very attentive and easy to work with. An excellent value. The hotel has several great restaurants and bars. You really don’t have to leave…Highly recommend.

The Thompson Hotel in Dallas is a beautifully designed, stylish property that immediately impresses with its modern decor and upscale ambiance. The food is excellent, offering a great variety of well-executed dishes, and the overall service is top-notch. Special shoutout to the valet team — they are outstanding. Always attentive, friendly, and quick to open the door with a warm welcome, they truly elevate the experience. Unfortunately, the stay was significantly impacted by one major issue: noise. Despite being on a higher floor, the windows do little to block out the sounds from the street. Dallas seems to have a serious problem with car racing and modified exhausts, especially late into the night. Cars race up and down the street below the hotel until 2 a.m., making it nearly impossible to sleep. The noise level is so disruptive that it overshadows the otherwise great qualities of the hotel. For light sleepers or anyone looking for a peaceful night’s rest, I would not recommend staying here unless the hotel addresses this issue with soundproofing or with the presence of police on the streets. It’s a shame, because everything else — style, food, and service — was exceptional.
