This hotel is amazing, the staff were polite and professional, the entire place was clean and the atmosphere was very welcoming. It was my first time in the area but the staff made me feel right at home. They told me friend and I were to go to eat and where to go for have a great time while on vacation. The valet staff were amazing and so were the staff in the restaurant. The room service food was also amazing. I highly recommend this hotel to others and I’m definitely coming back. Thanks for a great weekend.

Had a great stay at the Thompson Hotel in DC. The room was very clean, well-designed, and had a nice mini fridge. The hotel smelled great throughout, which made it feel fresh and inviting. The rooftop bar was a definite highlight—solid views, a good DJ, and a nice place to unwind in the evening. Food was surprisingly good for a hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location really can’t be beat—easy to get around and close to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

I write this in the context of the Thompson Austin who in January went out their way to offer the best level of service. First off the room - it’s good, clean everything you need. Location is good, slightly out the way but a nice area and easy enough to access the metro. Then we come to service - it was all polite and acceptable but just didn’t have the wow factor. The ‘amenity fee’ felt a bit of a con - the welcome drinks were unavailable, the bike hire was you pay it and we’ll refund it, but can only do it checkout. As I said nothing bad, it just wasn’t at the same level as Austin Thompson which was why I booked here in the first place.
