Thompson Zihuatanejo A Beach Resort by Hyatt

This is our third stay at this property in the past four years. We have stayed in a Beach Suite, a Swim-Up Suite, and in a Lagoon Suite and each of these has benefits (though the Lagoon Suite has the best size. Everything about this hotel is outstanding. The rooms are great, the beach and the pool areas are great, and the location on Playa La Ropa is perfect (easy access to town, local restaurants, sunsets). But what really makes this a wonderful stay is the service provided by all of the staff. They do everything right to make your stay perfect. Front Desk and Housekeeping are responsive. But most of all, the staff at Hao are all welcoming, attentive, and make the guests feel at home. In particular, Ellie at the restaurant and Juan on the beach are two reasons we will be back - outstanding and warm service always. Gracias a todos!

Our stay was wonderful! Great room, we were in a swim-up suite which was also steps from the beach giving us options of the pool or the beach. We could hear the ocean all night which we loved. The hotel itself was very quiet and felt very private, and secluded even with plenty of guests occupied. The food onsite was excellent, the service also excellent. The staff were all so friendly and enjoyable. We were there for 9 days so definitely had plenty of time to really evaluate it all! Our daughter's Welcome Party for her wedding guests was also held at the hotel and that was also excellent. I enjoyed a 2.5hr spa treatment on property which I recommend highly. We honestly hated to have to leave and cannot wait to return!

Great stay! Went for a wedding and it couldn’t have been at a better location. The hotel is beautiful, food and drinks are delicious, staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. They have free paddle boards and kayaks to use, tennis courts, and so much more. Hope I have the opportunity to go back!
