Great location. Regretfully there was some rain on and off so we could not fully explore the grounds. The decor was a bit dated in the room and the space between bed and the wall was minimal. Beds were comfortable though. Dinner was ok. Not the view we had hope for as the blinds in the restaurant were stuck. Great breakfast.
A comfortable and enjoyable stay here for 2 nights. We chose this hotel while planning the trip to Kistefos Museum, mainly because of the location and it is by the sea. Food here is excellent since it is sourced locally or grown in-house. I especially loved the blue cheese in the breakfast buffet, fresh vegetables and breads. There are beautiful gardens all around the hotel, also a fine collection of sculptures and art. Would be great if the piano was moved to the auditorium lounge. Architecture is unique, I realized it was all joined together by long corridors. Even the Exits were all different! Thank you very much for the hospitality during our stay! Definitely recommend this!
The place is really nice, the rooms have some wear and tear. The staff working there is helpful and nice. The food was absolutely delicious. Good parking for cars
