Only stayed for the one night as a single traveller. The room was plenty big enough, clean and tidy with a good bathroom. Had everything i needed for a comfy night. Breakfast was great, and the owner was very accommodating. Will certainly be stopping here again when work takes me this way.
Had a night's stay. We had a warm welcome. We ate on Sunday evening. It was a popular place and understandably there were many dishes unavailable. The food we had was good overall. The rooms were comfortable. Guest WiFi didn't work despite a few attempts. Sound from other rooms...you can hear conversations clearly! Breakfast wasn't so great. Sausage was poor quality and quite anaemic. Egg seemed undercooked too. Staff friendly though.
Great service and the staff were amazing, the food quality and prices they were charging was a bit different. Have been eating here for the past 20 years, my son had a mixed grill that cost £35 l thought would be huge, and it was just a standard grill that the Aubrey arms charge £22 for. I had a steak l had to leave came out cold on one side for some reason and full of fat. Hopefully was a one off and will change as we have always liked coming here especially on a Sunday
