Tia Heights Makadi Bay Resort

A massive thank you to Yasser who couldnt do enough for us very friendly and exceptional service, nothing was too much trouble. View from the room (sunset especially) was amazing and pool was decent. Other than that it was very average and the cleaner took some of my belongings.

I recently visited Tia Heights Egypt and left feeling thoroughly disappointed. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the property fell short of the high expectations set by its promotional materials. The overall maintenance of the facilities was poor—rooms appeared outdated and lacked proper upkeep, and public areas were far from inviting. The cleanliness was subpar, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the environment. In addition, the amenities promised during booking were either missing or not functioning properly, leaving me feeling misled about the experience. Service was another major letdown. Staff interactions were curt and unhelpful; despite voicing my concerns, there was little effort to remedy the issues or offer any form of compensation. It seemed as though customer satisfaction was not a priority here, which only compounded my frustration. Overall, Tia Heights Egypt did not deliver the quality or service one would expect. For the price paid, the experience was disappointing in every respect—from the outdated facilities and lack of amenities to the indifferent customer service. I would recommend considering alternative options if you’re looking for a truly enjoyable stay in Egypt.

Avoid - Avoid - Avoid - Avoid First thing first , unpleasant holiday in Tia Heights Makida Bay Room - very old , air conditioning very noisy, room service changed a towels twice in a week, terrace door didn’t lock . Food - I’m glad we didn’t have a food poisoning, awful. Restaurant- dirty , sticky tables , dirty plates , dirty glasses and plastic cups , shortages of glasses. Bars - unfriendly staff , very poor alcohol, dirty glasses and plastic cups . Entertainment - unless you speaking Russian everyone ok , all evening shows mainly in Russian language. Hotel overall have 5 stars rating , in our opinion they shouldn’t have more then 2 , we have been in 3 star hotel before and they been much better standard . Internet - website state free , but only in lobby with very poor speed .
