Lovely hotel with wonderful views and great service. The rooms can be spacious, depending on what you book. It is a little bit out of the way, about 30 minutes from Cannes but if that is ok with you, this place is great. Not many people when we visited so it was peaceful. It has a sister hotel which looks more active if that works better for you but otherwise you can circulate between the two, they will drive you. Overall, highly recommend. The pool is fantastic and has a great view.

A beautiful location with the food to match. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Cote D'Azur.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the €800+ Nightly Rate Despite high expectations, our recent stay at Hôtel Tiara Yaktsa Côte d’Azur left much to be desired—especially for a property that presents itself as a 5-star luxury destination. While the suite was reasonably spacious, the décor was dated and lacked the elegance expected at this price point. Most notably, the views—arguably one of the hotel’s main selling points—were underwhelming for a rate exceeding €800 per night. Service was inconsistent and fell short of anything resembling luxury. The team member at check-in was friendly but failed to mention key inclusions in our rate: breakfast and access to the oceanfront amenities at the sister property. These are basic, essential details that should be communicated clearly to guests upon arrival. Worse yet, multiple interactions with the reception team were marked by a distinct lack of professionalism. On more than one occasion, staff did not even stand to greet us—leaning casually in their chairs while speaking to guests. This informal, almost dismissive attitude is completely out of place in a hotel that claims to be refined and high-end. For €800+ per night, guests expect polished, attentive service—not a “casual” vibe. The disappointment continued with the logistics around accessing the sister property. Despite promoting it as part of the guest experience, no shuttle is offered between the two. Instead, guests are left to make their own way—up and down a steep mountain road—again detracting from any sense of comfort or luxury. This lack of thoughtful guest support only reinforces how far the experience falls from true five-star standards. Adding insult to injury, even when breakfast is included in the rate, the hotel charges an extra €10 for Eggs Benedict. At this level, it’s not about the cost—it’s the principle. This kind of penny-pinching feels tacky and completely at odds with the expectations of a luxury stay. And perhaps most absurd of all: guests cannot even enjoy breakfast on the terrace due to a licensing limitation that only allows outdoor dining during dinner service. You’re paying a premium to be perched above the Mediterranean and yet are denied the chance to take in the view during one of the day’s most relaxing meals. It’s a baffling operational miss. In short, this was a thoroughly underwhelming experience. The hotel feels outdated, service is sloppy and unrefined, and the guest experience is riddled with missed opportunities and frustrating oversights. This is not a luxury property by any stretch—just an overpriced disappointment. Save your money and choose a true 5-star hotel where you’ll actually be able to enjoy the beauty of the coast with the service and comfort to match. We will not return and do not recommend.
