Tiba Pyramids

The furniture is outdated as well as the room conditions. Thou, it is clean and smell good. The wifi does not work or weak at all times. However the room is super large and stong door. I got the room with sitting room for two persons. The price is great. The breakfast is simple and no menu rotation. The staff are helpful and kind. The location is everything. The cafe at zero floor offers the good food and coffee with reasonable price with tasty dishes. The location also close to other restaurants and convenient stores.

In short, receptionists are not professionals at all, I.e. must show reservation number and surname does not work, no good advice given, felt we were judged by our appearance. Noisy and inoperative aircon combined with traffic noise piercing through the windows (single glazed). TV does not work, there is no tea/coffee in the room. Toilet bathroom is extremely bad as you cannot shower (too small pane). Room card/key needs activating every time you go out and at times, the receptionist did wrong activation so did not open the door. Breakfast served in packed cases as there is no buffet system. All liquids (hot/cold) served in paper cups. There is no bar facilities & sauna only opens at 2pm. Overall, this hotel does not deserve ratings of any stars. Based on the facilities and non- professional staff, I truly believe this hotel is merely 1*. I shall never ever return to this hotel and will not suggest anybody to use this hotel. Only good points are, it’s very near from Pyramids and hot water works instantly.

On arrival we thought this would be a good hotel. After sorting out issues with our booking when the young receptionist was brilliant. We ordered dinner which came 1 hour before our booked time. It was brought in from a place outside. The food was cold. Our room was basic. Missing TV remote control. There was a kettle but no cups or drinks etc. It was very noisy. Cannot recommend this.
