Nice restaurants, pool and environment. Perfect to have a family dinner next to the lake, or to spend a full day at the pool with family or friends.
What use to be the Intercontinental, it is now a socialist government-owned hotel which has seen better days. It is somber, smelly and old. Staff is polite. The location is very nice, by lake Maracaibo, some stores around the lobby and a mall beside the hotel.
3 hours to be given a room! 20 minutes to get a receipt while checking out. It surely was a fancy hotel back in the day, needs an overhaul now
