Tigerlily

An amazing weekend in Edinburgh. The Tigerlily is an unique boutique. The rooms are beautifully decorated, large with great amenities. The breakfast meal is of a very high quality. The staff are friendly welcoming and polite. Tigerlily is very well located to see everything in Edinburgh. Had a very tasty evening meal on our first night. I highly recommend the Tigerlily for your stay in Edinburgh. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic stay. Excellent staff, who were very friendly, particularly Neil who looked after us on Friday when we had a few drinks and dinner. The food was amazing for both supper and breakfast for the 3 mornings we resided. I highly recommend the Spanish breakfast, which was my favourite. We stayed in the mini Georgian suite which was very comfortable. I also requested lactose free milk for our room which was kindly provided. The only negative was the music from the nightclub below which went on until 3am on the Saturday night. It was loud enough to vibrate the water on the bedside table. Being one only two rooms on the first floor, that’s one of the downsides I suppose. We mentioned it to reception staff in the morning and we were provided with ear plugs for the next night. However it was not as bad the following night. We plan to return and would definitely consider staying at Tigerlily again due to the great location and excellent service. Thank you to the team for making us feel so welcome.

So happy we have chosen this hotel. Location is perfect, new town, many shops and restaurants, lively crowd. Beautifully decorated, colorful flowers everywhere. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Coffee , teas and cookies complementary and a fully stocked bar. Huge bathroom with walk-in shower. We had extensive hot breakfast included in our rate, much more on the savory side but still plenty of choices even for sweet tooth. Breakfast staff very attentive. Noteworthy the remarkable help of David the Manager as a/c stopped working in our room. He did his best to make us feel comfortable by bringing a portable a/c unit to the room. We appreciate it very much. All in all we highly recommend Tigerlily. Lovely.
